Zedril Rallysport to Host Caribbean Rally Champion Bobby Marshall of Jamaica

As of 10:30pm tonight and for the next two weeks, Zedril Rallysport will
play host and personal tour guide to muti-time 2wd Jamaican and
Trinidad/Tobago rally champion Bobby Marshall.  As a member of the Jamaica
Millennium Motoring Club (http://www.jamaicamotorsports.com), the Mitsubishi
driver, backed by Singer stores (http://www.singer.com.jm) and global energy
producer Total (http://www.total.com) has been looking forward to this trip
since last spring, when an uprising in his hometown of Kingston derailed
plans at the last minute.  Nevertheless, with the support of Jamaica's
Minister of Sports, Bobby's Air Canada flight lands in Winnipeg tonight,
then it's off to the http://www.rallyminnesota.com Regional level event
based out of Park Rapids, Minnesota first thing in the morning.  Bobby will
be acting as co-driver in the "Advance 1" car of long time Banner Chief Amy
Springer for two full days.  Immediately following, it's off to the
http://www.rockymountainrally.com National based out of Stoney Nakoda
Resort, which is located an hour West of Calgary, Alberta at the base of the
Canadian Rockies.  Bobby will partake in the pre-event reconnaissance
alongside the entire field of competitors and will also be treated to
various tourist activities immediately following the event and prior to his
departure back home to Jamaica.  Additional event information is available

Performance Rallying is considered by many as the most extreme form of
automobile motorsport and it's often described simply as "real cars, real
roads, real fast." This all-season motorsport sees drivers and their
co-drivers taking modified street-legal cars to the absolute limit as they
achieve blistering speeds over challenging closed-road courses that
typically cover more than 170 kilometers of gravel, dirt or snow-covered
roads.  Fans can get up close to the cars in the service areas and catch all
of the action from specially designated spectator points located at the best
spots on the route with competitors often reaching speeds of well over 160
kph.

The Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS) is the official sanctioning
body for rallying in Canada and the premier rally series, the Canadian Rally
Championship (CRC), comprising of six events across the country, spanning
from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in New Richmond, Quebec to the
mountains of Merritt, British Columbia.
